We have electricians available 24/7, no matter the problem. If you have an issue that poses an immediate risk to safety – for example, a sparking fuse box – we’ll send one of our electricians immediately. We can also schedule out-of-hours maintenance and repairs to minimise disruption if you have critical equipment that must remain operational during business hours.

ROUTINE MAINTENANCE
Keeping our customers and staff safe is our number one priority. We carry out a general electrical safety test on every callout to ensure that all electrical fittings in your property comply with the relevant safety regulations. We’ll notify you of anything that poses a danger to people’s safety, such as exposed cables or overheated fuses and breakers, and explain the solutions available so you can make a clear and informed choice about remedial work.
All our electricians are NICEIC Approved Contractors that have been taught and assessed to the highest standard, for both residential and commercial properties. All work undertaken adheres to the Wiring Regulations BS7671 and Part ‘P’ of the Building Regulations for England and Wales.
To help minimise the impact to your property, our electricians use shoe covers and dust covers wherever required. All work areas will be cleaned up completely once the job is finished.
SOME COMMON ISSUES
Flickering Lights
If your lights are buzzing or flickering, it could mean that the wattage is wrong, or there could be a bad connection between the lamp and the switch. Substituting the bulb may help, but if not we’ll be able to ascertain the root cause and get your lights operating correctly.
Powers Cuts
Occasional power cuts are frustrating at the best of times, but if they’re happening more frequently then there may be a fault with the wiring or fuse board. Our electricians will diagnose the problem wherever it lies and implement a fix, or if necessary, raise the issue with your electricity provider.
Electrical Device Arcing
If you notice a strange fishy smell (ozone being burnt) or a smell of smoke from a switch or wall socket, it could mean the connection to a device’s circuit has been broken. When this occurs, electricity will jump to complete the circuit – known as “arcing” – which can significantly increase the risk of a fire.
